Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam:
As the name indicates, cleaning of the Holy place by a devotee is the main tempo of this festival.

The cleaning ceremony of sanctum santorum is held four times a year before Ugadi( Telugu new year), Anivara Asthanam, Vaikunta Ekadasi and Anuual Brahmotsavams. Devotees can participate in the cleaning festival. Whole ceremony is performed as per Vaikasana Agamas.
The main deity of Lord Ventateswara( Moola Virat) is covered with a water proof papers and entire Garbha gruha( main temple) including floors, ceilings , walls and also things used for pooja like vessels, Harthi plates etc are cleansed using water and aromatic ingredients like Camphor, sandal paste , Saffron, Turmeric and Kicchili gadda(a root vegetable which acts as disinfectant).
All the water proof covering placed on the main deity and other deities is removed. The entire article for performing pooja are cleansed and replaced. The special pooja will be held on this day.
Annual seva Booking:
Advance online booking is available. The e-portals present in almost all districts also offer tickets in advance before three months.
The Annual seva tickets cost is Rs.300/- per head. The seva starts from 8 in the morning. All the ticket holders are allowed to take darshan after this ritual. Each ticket holder will be given 2 small laddus and vada along with silk cloth upper and a blouse piece.
