This historical place was located at a distance of 12 KM from Tirupathi which is approximately 30 min drive. The palace is converted to museum. The ticket cost is Rs.10/- for Adults and free for children below 12 years.
The fort was built by Yadava Naidus and was later captured by Vijayanagara rulers in 13th century. This palace has become prominent during the realm of Sri Krishna Devaralayu . It is also said that this king has met his future queen Chinnama Devi here. Later this place was ruled by Mysore rulers.
The museum has laser shows in summer and winter seasons. And the show starts 6.30 PM daily except on Friday which is a holiday. The show timings are from 6.30 PM- 7.15 PM and 7.30 pm – 8.15 PM.
