Annual Sevas

The main Annual seva in Tirumala is Brahmotsavam which is performed every year during the time of Dussera. The remaining sevas are as follows:

Things to Remember:

Each person attending the seva should wear South Indian dressing i.e. Dhoti and upper cloth for gents along with shirt or T-shirt (plain), Sari or half sari or Punjabi with duppatta for ladies.

Free Prasadams are offered to all Arjitha Grihasthas including free water, milk etc. Ambulance and fire services are also available in case of emergency. Mothers with children of age below 8 years are not recommended to participate in these sevas because of heavy rush and the kids get suffocated.

Tickets for all the Annual sevas are very limited and can be obtained in three ways

  • Online Booking: The home site of Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam(TTD) offers advance booking. Firstly get registered in that site to book tickets. Tickets once booked cannot be cancelled or refunded. Only 2 tickets can be booked by one person.
  • Advance Booking: This can be done in 2 ways. One is by sending Demand Draft through courier to Arjitham Office, Tirumala and can receive tickets within 15 days to the mentioned address. For this method tickets can be booked 90 days before.

The other is by booking in the nearest available e-counter and can be booked only 60 days in advance. The e-Darshan counters are available on all days of the week except on Tuesday and the timings are from 9.00 A.M to 4.00 P.M. The tickets can be cancelled or postponed depending upon the rush.25% amount will be deducted for each cancellation.

  • Current booking: This is a Lucky dip system and the tickets are issued at Vijaya Bank Counters located opposite to RTC bus stand in Tirumala. The devotees have to obtain tickets by themselves using finger prints between 11.30 A.M to 5.30 P.M on the day before. Dips will be taken from 6. AM and selected candidates will be issued tickets at 7 PM. The tickets once purchased cannot be sold to others or postponed or cancelled.
